Announcement

The eighteenth international symposium, ISMB18, will take place at Palais des Congrès in Lyon from July 18th to 21st, 2023. The aims of ISMB18 are to promote scientific and technological exchange, and to enhance the understanding and the dissemination of magnetic bearing technology worldwide. OBJECTIVES

  • Exchange research results and case studies obtained by universities, research institutes and industry (manufacturers and users) related to magnetic bearings,

  • Present industrial applications and industrial study cases using magnetic bearings,

  • Create synergy between industry and university to solve current and future problems where magnetic devices can be used,

  • Make the technology of magnetic bearing known to a large public,

  • Promote the interaction between students, researchers, engineers and other professionals working in the field of magnetic bearings,

  • Present research axes based on present and future industrial needs.

TARGET AUDIENCE

  • Manufacturers and Industrial companies using magnetic bearings,

  • Professionals who can take advantage of this technology,

  • Professors, undergraduate and graduate students from different universities and specialties related to the application and the use of magnetic bearings.
